We are showing consumers and the industry that you don’t need to buy a new phone to get an upgrade, or toss a phone away because one part fails. We’re also showing phone manufacturers a different approach to design: you don’t need to create a new model when you can launch new, improved modules. Doesn’t that just make more sense? Subscribe here: https://bit.ly/fairphonesubscribtion Getting a better camera is one of the top reasons that many people buy a new phone. We listened to that. And today, instead of announcing a new model of Fairphone that makes the last model obsolete, we’re improving the existing phone on a modular basis, and calling it the Fairphone 3+. The Fairphone 3+ is a perfect example of why we focus so much on modular design: we can upgrade just a few parts of the Fairphone 3, without needing to redesign the entire phone. Since 2013, Fairphone is on a mission to create a more sustainable and ethical smartphone. The modular, repairable Fairphone 3 champions longer-lasting design, fair materials, good working conditions, and the reduction of e-waste. We want to help the entire electronics industry to do better. By creating more sustainable smartphones, we’re demonstrating the endless possibilities for a fairer future, for everyone! It’s no secret, we’re out to change the world. Fairphone puts people and the planet first. Take a look behind the screen and learn more about the hidden stories you’re holding hand.
